This June, Freight Island plays host to a night dedicated to one of Manchester’s most iconic and influential bands.
Theese Smiths take to the stage delivering the sound, emotion and unmistakable presence of The Smiths, bringing timeless tracks like There Is a Light That Never Goes Out, This Charming Man and How Soon Is Now? to life.
On DJ duties, Clint Boon and Ezi Eden set the tone with a carefully curated selection of indie classics, before and between the live sets — with DJ Paul Ezi Eden keeping the dancefloor moving all night long.
Expect a room full of fans, every word sung back, and that unique atmosphere only Smiths music creates.
